How Can Your Family Get Engaged?

Family Equality Council has been working hard to make sure that we can put the power of our parents to work in Minnesota to help defeat the anti-family marriage amendment in November 2012!
 
LGBT parents and their allies have a tremendous opportunity to change hearts and minds throughout the state and Family Equality Council is committed to providing you with the tools you will need to accomplish this task.

Here you will find tools to help you:

• Talk to your friends and neighbors about the marriage amendment
• Engage in volunteer opportunities and recruit others to join you
• Talk to your children about political campaigns and anti-LGBT attacks on our families.

MN United is conducting a series of Community Action Trainings. We are happy to be working with the campaign to make four of these trainings "family friendly" so that parents can attend and can bring their kids! Free childcare will be available and there will be age-appropriate programming and activities for everyone! This is also a great opportunity for children to witness their parents doing something positive and standing up for their families!
